Your Questions About Nys Unemployment Benefits
John asks…How should I file my NYS income tax on unemployment benefits received, living outside NYS the entire year?I've been collecting NY unemployment benefits while living in FL and I understand I must still pay NY income tax on these benefits. I was also married this year and my husband, who is employed and I, are planning to file married jointly on our federal. Would we have to file the same on NYS tax & will we have to claim my husbands income earned in FL or is it only money
