Ken asks…Would the foodstamps and SSI benefits stop if i work in the summer?I'm 16 and i got accepted to a summer job by the NYC Summer Youth Employment Program. My mom takes food stamps and SSI benefits and shes worried that if I do this summer job, then everything would stop. Im not sure about this, and I hope it doesnt because i want to work in the summer.
