Thanks.admin answers:The RODE NTG-2 is a good midrange, pro-grade, mono, shotgun mic with a XLR connector.
Technically, you have two ways to connect it to your consumer-grade camcorder's 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo jack.
One is the correct way - the other is possible, a lot cheaper and not recommended.
