Tormenting in hell is not a scriptural teaching. Hell is just mankind's resting place...his common grave. Jesus went to hell/hades for 3 days the bible says (Acts 2:31) he saw beforehand and spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he forsaken in Ha?des nor did his flesh see corruption.
