Lisa asks…Will taking prednisone only once in a while, once a day, still cause side-effects/problems?I've heard that large doses and extended treatment using prednisone can result in lots of weight gain, unwanted side effects, etc. But what if you only pop a pill or receive a shot once in a blue moon for emergencies or things of the sort?
Also what about Advair?admin answers:I have to take prednisone when my already terrible asthma gets really bad. I just recently finished a round of it
